Marlpit Hall -  Marlpit Hall, built circa 1756, was home to the prominent loyalist Taylor family during the Revolution. Edward Taylor endured house arrest for his political position and the family lost much of its fortune and influence. It is a key property in the National Register of Historic Places, Middletown Village district and is listed on the NJ Women's History Trail.

Taylor-Butler House - Taylor-Butler House was built in 1853 by later generations of Marlpit's Taylor family. The family had been very successful in the China Trade out of New York and when Joseph and Mary Holmes Taylor married in 1849, they decided to move back to Middletown and build a grand house on the family farm. The Taylor-Butler House can be rented for meetings and events.
